CuteBee, MiniCity kits and similar
Most CuteBee, MiniCity, and similar kits use 2 AAA batteries and small plastic connectors for the LED lights and touch switch. NookSmart is plug-and-play compatible with these - just plug the connectors into NookSmart and you're all set.
Rolife kits and similar
Most Rolife kits use a battery box with 2 AAA batteries and a pair of wires that are twisted to the LED light wires. NookSmart is compatible with these - just twist the LED wires to the optional wire adapter and plug that into NookSmart.

Yes. Most Rolife kits use a battery box with 2 AAA batteries and a pair of wires twisted to the LED light wires. NookSmart is compatible with these—twist your LED wires to the optional wire adapter and plug it into NookSmart. Select the wire adapter at checkout if your kit uses twisted wires rather than plastic connectors.
Does NookSmart work with CuteBee book nook kits?

Does this require a special hub?
NookSmart connects directly to WiFi. For Siri automation, you may need a Home hub (HomePod mini, Apple TV, or iPad configured as a hub). For Alexa voice control, you’ll need an Echo or compatible Alexa device.

No—NookSmart is a lighting controller for book nook and diorama kits you already have. Your miniature house, LEDs, and touch switch (if included) are separate.
Does NookSmart work with dollhouse or diorama lighting?
NookSmart is designed for book nook kits and similar miniature house and diorama projects that use a small battery pack and 3–5V miniature LEDs. It is not a general dollhouse wiring system—if your setup uses the same type of battery box and LED connectors as popular book nook kits, it may fit. Send a photo of your connectors on Etsy and we'll confirm.
